U-M’s Engineering Research Symposium is a great way to see the campus, tour departments and labs and learn about graduate research in Michigan Engineering. The symposium is typically held in November. Travel grants are available for some prospective engineering PhD students residing in the US. Learn more about the symposium from Michigan Engineering.
After considering application materials, NERS extends invitations to visit the department as our guests to highly-qualified domestic and international pre-candidate prospects living in the U.S. These visits typically take place in March. For more information see the graduate visiting page.
To visit the NERS department as a prospective undergraduate student, please contact us through our Undergraduate Program Information Requests form.
